ACE Cargo Release Cancellation

In this “How To” you will find how to cancel a Cargo Release for an entry accepted in ACE.

Instructions

If your entry is on cargo status “No Bill Match” follow these steps.

  1. Go to your entry Cargo Release entry screen.

     

  2. Set field “Action” to “Delete Entry”

     

  3. Click “Save & Close” button.

     

  4. Make sure your entry is selected and click “Transmit” button on your top menu .

  5. Make sure your “Transmission Type” is set to “Cargo Release (ACE)” and click “Transmit” button.

 

If Cargo has a status different than “No Bill Match” you must first select a “reason code”. Once your reason code is selected, you can proceed with steps 1-5 above.

  1. Go to Entry summary

  2. Click on “Correct/Cancel ACE Cargo

  3. Select a Cancellation code

  4. Click on “save”

The entry number must be declared without hyphens or spaces.
