Create a Split Trip

This manual explains step-by-step instructions for creating a Split trip.

Instructions

Add the control shipment
1. Access the EMANIFEST section in the Shipments Dashboard.
2. Capture the shipment data as in the prefile
  
  Note: “Add” Action is for Transmit, “Replace” Action is for Update, “Delete” Action is for Cancel.
3. Save changes and transmit
4. Confirm the registration was transmitted successfully. It can be confirmed in the Status column it appears as “Preliminary”
Create the trips
1. Access the EMANIFEST section in the Trips Dashboard
2. Create the trip as empty.
  Adding SCAC, Port, Conveyance, Driver, Delivery Location and Equipment
3. Save changes and transmit
4. Confirm in the log the message “Trip Finalized”
Link the distribution of quantities in each trip
1. Access one of the trips created and locate the Shipment section
2. Capture the SCN and press the search button
  
  NOTE: The “search” button only appears when a new shipment is added. After adding or saving it, the button can no longer be displayed on that post.
3. Capture the data corresponding to the trip. Equipment, Quantity and Weight
4. Save changes and transmit with the ACE Add Shipment button
5. Confirm in the "Shipment Log" the message "Shipping linked to trip"
6. These steps are repeated with the other trips until the total declared merchandise is completed.
