 Problem

Driver constantly being detained at port by CBP officers due to wrong plates.

 Solution

Since plates registered in DTOPS are taken as priority by customs, they need to be updated to match with plates transmitted in e-manifest.

  1. Request the carrier to update plates in DTOPS through website https://dtops.cbp.dhs.gov/main/#%20

 

Shipments will incur in delays if plates in DTOPS are not updated.
