IMEXNet Database Update

When you finish updating or installing the system you will be required to do a Database Update. This will be prompted by a window asking if you would like to run a DB update once you run the system. The Database update process is simple and once you've understood the process you will find no issue with updating the Database whenever needed.

This guide will go over the steps needed in order to do the DB update when running the system.

1. On the Database Configuration window press the OK button.

2. This will open up the Set Password window. Enter "update" onto the textbox and press the Set Password button to continue.

3. This will open up the Database Configuration window. You will notice that the following information is filled: Host Server, Database, User, and Password.

4. The information important in this screen is the password but because of security reason that information will not be displayed.

5. In order to retrieve the Password press on the Connection2 tab this will move you to be information displayed on Connection2, and here you will press the Swap Conn button.

6. The information saved on the Connection1 tab will then be moved to Connection2 and here you will copy the Password since that is the required information.

7. Press on the Connection1 tab and then press on the Swap Conn button in order to place all the database fields back to normal.

8. Press on the Update button located at the bottom left side of the screen and this will re-open the Set Password window.

9. Paste the password you just copied from Connection2 here and then press the Set Password button.

10. The system will then freeze as it is doing the Database Update and here you'll wait till you get a window that says "DB update was done"

11. Press on the Test button to confirm the connection is working and then press the Save button until all the window close.
