Instruments of International Traffic are containers, skids, shipping tanks and similar articles used for the transportation of merchandise. IIT do not require a formal entry and payment of duty.

Review 19 C.F.R. §§ 10.41, 10.41a, Part 123, Subpart B for applicable CBP regulations.
1. When filing an IIT in Equipment section, select the type of IIT.,
2. Enter the importer of record, Tax ID, and bond number on notes section.
